So happy with these sleeping bags!
By SheLoh on 8/6/2018 6:43:00 AM
This is a long review, but I really wanted to share our experiences.
I did a lot of research to find the best sleeping bag for me to use on a 17-day Roadtrip in the pacific northwest, that would be warm enough, waterproof, wide enough for me to sleep comfortably in (I'm a big girl and I sleep with my knees up, )and that would compress into a small bag. I was led to this bag.
I ordered it from Amazon, and the zipper did not work well because it appeared that it got crimped up. I contacted the company, and they were very responsive and concerned to make things right. I was able to return it and get another one right away. The company contacted me again to make sure that I was satisfied.
We had ordered another brand of bag for my teenage daughter but she liked mine better, both for the size and comfort. We returned hers and bought 2 more of these for her and my husband.
We camped for several days on our trip, and never stayed at the same campground for more than one night. The sleeping bags were perfect!
Pros:
Size! Wide and long
Compresses easily to a reasonable size with a bag
Soft in the inside, but easy to keep clean
Waterproof! It was so nice to wake up in the morning in a dry bag (other things were damp in the mornings)
Hood at the top to keep pillows where they need to be (and you can pull out tight around your head, if needed.)
Light, but warm enough for 3 seasons
Has flap to cover the top of the zipper so that it doesn't come unzipped while sleeping (and you can fold over the flap so that the velcro doesn't scratch you when you aren't using the flap.)

Cons :
Due to the hood, the bag only opens on the right side (from a laying down point of view.)
I asked my daughter what her cons were, and she said it was difficult to put in the bag. Neither my husband nor I struggled with it, but I thought I should mention it.
My husband felt that it was a bit too light to keep him warm (he gets very cold) so we just took an extra blanket for him.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with these bags and the respect and concern of the company. We were so glad to have them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a sleeping bag with these qualities.

Not heavy enough
By Steve Eli on 12/22/2022 2:17:42 AM
I bought this sleeping bag because my wife kicks the covers off in the middle of the night and I wake up cold. We keep it at 65 at night as she has heat triggered migraines, and I like it hot so this was my compromise. I wasn’t looking for an outdoor bag with low temp limits and thought this would fit the bill, but it didn’t. The first night I wore flannel pants, a T-shirt and sweat shirt, and socks and was hoping to shed layers but that never happened. I never got super cold but I never got warm either.

Aside from that, the bag felt great. It was roomy enough leg width wise and was long enough for me being 5’6’’. The inside of the bag is not cloth so it didn’t stick to my pants as I got comfortable. I wasn’t a fan of the zipper being on the left side via the pictures as it get out of bed on the other side. If it was warm enough this would have been a great bag, but it’s not for me.
