Never owned an ammo can before, but thought I would pick up a couple for storage. Wow. I bought the 50 cal and the 30 cal versions. Heavy steel construction, excellent olive drab paint job and (a little thing, but...) the large side label peeled off without leaving a trace. The box latches and seals tight due to the included rubber seal and the handle lies flat to allow stacking. All in all, a great product and rugged.

Handles are welded offset

I haven’t submerged them in water to test the seal and welds, but overall material quality seems acceptable. However, I won’t be buying any more of these due to the handles being welded incorrectly- they’re not evenly spaced lengthwise. This causes two issues- the ammo box is unbalanced when carrying with a load and they won’t stack properly.
