CamelBak Women's Charm Hydration Pack

I really like this little pack. It has been really useful for the longer bike rides I have started doing. Longer being relative, I'm talking up to 30 miles. On really hot days it's 1.5 L capacity is not enough without being able to refill along your route, but for those <85 degree days it's a good size. I prefer to only use water in this pack and carry sports drinks/hydration fluids in my water bottle since I don't need to drink those as often. The crux reservoir mine came with does not have a release valve where the tube meets the bladder and I have not been able to remove the tube which is why I have kept to water only. I have had it leak from the lid, but as another reviewer said, if you turn it to the left until it "clicks" you can be sure it has fully seated when you tighten to the right. I always get a good seal after that. I was worried about the chest strap because I could not tell which part of the chest it was designed to fit around and I am not small chested. I am happy with the strap placement. It goes over the bust, and fits me comfortably with the shoulder straps at an equally comfortable length. (for comparison, I have a 44" high chest, above the bust, measurement). I like to fill mine up about halfway and freeze it overnight the day before a ride. I fill the rest of the way in the morning and the water stays cold, for 3-4 hours depending on how hot it is. It keeps my back cool for the first 2 or so hours as well, which is a nice bonus.
