Hydro Flask 21oz Standard Flex Cap

Well, the color is pretty and the bottle does not leak, I think this particular model had some manufacturing defect that causes an odor it smells like vomit that I cannot get rid of. I have washed it with vinegar and soap, put it through the sanitation cycle on the dishwasher. I also tried bleach and water. Nothing gets rid of the smell of vomit. There is something in the coating of this particular model. If anyone has a suggestion on how to get rid of the smell, I would like to hear about it. There are also rust stains in the bottom. This is my third bottle from Hydro flask. My other two have been great never had a smell and did not rust, but unfortunately, I left my last one on an airplane. I bought this as a replacement. I have to return it due to the god-awful smell. I wonder if there’s something in it that could be toxic. Returning it.
