Outstanding Belt - Who Knew!
By CinemaPete on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2017
I tend the get attached - no pun intended - to a belt and so tend to wear it out after a period; the wear is usually at the point where the buckle's pin goes through the belt's hole and around the flexing point of the leather belt. So naturally, when I first saw the Click Belt advertised on TV I was intrigued by it, immediately realizing the usual wear at the flex point would not occur because there is no pin or holes with its design. So often we see TV ads about devices that claim to do one thing or the other and are often ridiculously inexpensive and you think to yourself that it simply can't really be good - right? Well I ordered the Click belt and it arrived on a Sunday (already a surprise); The belt comes in two pieces: the leather belt itself, and the special click buckle. I ordered the black belt. The leather belt has special teeth on the underside where it enters the buckle. Along the remaining length are markings that you can choose to cut the belt at depending on your current belt size. The instructions are simple and say to look at your current belt for its size and cut the new leather Click Belt two inches longer. The buckle has a latch on it with teeth that you insert the cut end of the belt into an opening and close down the latch; the teeth firmly bond with the belt and once you've inserted and secured the belt, it's ready to wear. The quality of the buckle is excellent; very solid and not cheap looking at all; the belt is leather with a pattern on it, also decent quality. After completing the "assembly" of my belt I was surprised at its quality yet still not really sure it would work. Boy was I amazed. The belt works flawlessly and is more adjustable than a conventional belt. I plan to buy a few more for myself and as gifts. Now the interesting thing is the Click Belt is made in China, not the United States. China is renowned for its electronics industry which has the U.S. chip industry on its toes. But as for fashion items this is a real surprise because most fashion items that come out of China tend to be cheap imitations of name brands. The Click Belt is in a class by itself and if Donald Trump can make his silk ties in China they must be doing something right. It would of course be better if the Click Belt was made here, in the US. Perhaps our new president-elect will bring Click Belt home. In any case, this item will not let you - or your pants - down. Order yours today !

I really like the overall design
By Frank C Tecca on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2018
I really like the overall design. The cog lock is great and the belt insert is a good match, holding well. I like the looks and I like the design of the buckle. Very attractive. On the down side, I think they could have used a better quality leather belt. Furthermore, pushing the front end of the belt (opposite the buckle end) through the buckle and then through the rectangular metal slot with the cog retracted (when one holds the buckle open) is extremely difficult. The front end of the belt usually ends up bent upwardly and smashed making it impossible to slide it through the metal slot with the cog. One has to take it out, flatten the end again and try again and again, until you are lucky to get it started just right. Then, after one pushes it through enough to grab the end, one can easily pull through the rest of the belt and secure the cog lock. This could have been easily fixed by attaching a metal piece over the end of the belt or attaching a simple metal edge to allow the belt to slip through without binding. Even a plastic tip on the belt would work great and look good as well. I would have been glad to pay more for these features because they determine the ease of use and ultimately the durability of the product. Frank Tecca
