NordicTrack Desk Treadmill

I would not buy this product. I have had treadmill desks from 3 different brands over the last 7 years and love using them at work and home. I recently bought the Norditrack Desk Treadmill and purchased the white glove assembly. The person who put it together was very nice. The machine is beautiful looking and seems well built. However, I noticed that the machine was very loud, especially compared to my other treadmill desk. So, I'm thinking this will be an easy call to a well known company in the fitness space for a short fix. Here's the problem. It turns out that Norditrack requires you to pre-register and fill out a lengthy form with the unit serial # before customer support will ever connect you to a human being. And there was no serial # tag on my unit. You would think that a company who required their customers to register the unit before they spoke to them, would have a # you could call if you had troubling registering. Not Norditrack. I tried calling and communicating with every other number they had (sales, text chat) and no one would help me or they would hang up. You would think that people who worked for a fitness brand would be more positive and have better attitudes. Based on this product being much noisier then my other treadmills and the frustration I have had with their customer service, I recommend you go with another brand of treadmill.
