Not shatter proof
By Placeholder on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2022
Had this a few days. Worked ok, really liked that all parts are dishwasher safe and also that it is wide enough to wash by hand if needed. Didn't like how difficult it was to remove the sleeve or that it didn't keep my drink hot for long, which, wasn't really a deal breaker as I drink multiple cups of coffee a day and am always filling up! But the kicker is that it's not shatter proof - forgot it on the top of the car and drove off and it shattered into pieces - don't know why, but, I thought the sleeve would protect it against such mishaps but that definitely wasn't the case here. A couple of other minor cons are because it's ceramic it's a lot heavier that other mugs and while it looks like it would hold a lot, it is misleading, as the sleeve makes it wider overall and harder to properly grasp if you have small hands as the inner ceramic portion is actually pretty thin and smooth and so when it is wet becomes slippery (aka, handle with care when removing from dishwasher).Ultimately if being dishwasher safe is your only need this will work well, but, it you want something that is also easy to hold, keeps your beverage hot and is shatterproof, you should look elsewhere.

A great mug if you don't want heat retention
By S. Hall on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2025
I've used this mug for a few weeks now and while it is a solid mug, it has a few problems.First, there's heat retention. There isn't any. Your hot coffee will be lukewarm within 20 minutes and watch that first sip, as the ceramic portion where your bottom lip goes will be hotter than the coffee.Second, that silicone wrap is nice but is strangely slick. If I don't keep a death-grip on it, the mug will just slide down in my hands...towards previously noted hot ceramic if your beverage is fresh. And third, the lid works great for preventing leaks, but needs a breather hole so when the mug is full you can get a decent sip of joe without it trickling out or glugging.
