Small but mighty!!
By Theresa DiMartino on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019
Bought it for a trip to France! I didn't use it as a carry-on, because it's definitely a little bit too small (I definitely tried! I'm sure it's possible if you're not paranoid and extra like me) but it was the perfect daypack. I wanted something slim and sleek enough so I didn't look super dorky, especially when carrying it as a crossbody. Clips and zippers are super easy, straps held up great, though I will caution everyone that they're gonna be awkward convertible backpack straps, so it's always a struggle. But that's a given with bags like these. I got pretty good at switching around the configuration after two weeks. It fits a TON, surprisingly! I was able to cram an umbrella, 16oz Swell bottle, sunglasses, personal items, a snack, my journal, and still cram in some random souvenirs and stuff I picked up! Totally recommend this little gem. Super secure, sleek, and it's exactly what anyone could need. It really helped me not overpack for walking around cities all day- do you really need a 35L Jansport for that? I still use it frequently back and forth on my bike to work and whatnot. Definitely recommend!!! Especially for the price.

I fixed the poor convertible backpack problem.
By S. K. on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2022
So I bought this bag after reading all the reviews about how poor the conversion is to backpack. And truly it is. It's a pain in the butt to get the straps even and it's a little awkward on the back because one is over and one is under the loop that it goes through. So I came up with a solution and it works perfectly. My straps are perfectly even, and it's it's nice and close to my back now. I'm including photos but basically you clasp it to the bottom loops of the bag, find the middle, bend it in half and put that part through the loop at the top of the bag, and then secure it with some thing like a carabiner or even a shower curtain round thing. The carabiner can work its way back through the loop, so I either need a bigger carabiner or one of those round metal shower curtain things that's about two or 3 inches in diameter. Now about the bag itself. Materials not very smooth and I find that it attracts hair and Lints and other stuff like crazy. Not super thrilled about that. I like that the front zipper on this one also has a little security latch. Other ones I considered we're missing that feature. It is very thin which is exactly what I wanted for riding subways. It doesn't fold completely flat if your packing it for use later. Anna's the biggest reason why I'm returning it? Luckily someone else pointed this out in another review and I'm so happy they did. You can't get in this bag while it's still on one of your shoulders. I mean you can but only on one side, if you are extremely flexible, and have a lot of time to try to do it. This bag is ideal if you're setting it down in front of you want to counter to get in it. But while traveling I often find myself in situations where where I want to make sure the bag is attached to me at all times. Ultimately this makes this bag non-functioning for me and I am going with a different travelon backpack.
