The Streamlight TLR-1 HL 1000-Lumen in FDE Brown is an outstanding weapon light. It’s extremely bright, reliable, durable, and fits perfectly on my setup! The FDE Brown color looks awesome and matches my 19X perfectly! For the performance and quality, it’s a great value and a solid light for any EDC or defensive setup. The strobe effect is a very strong and also a nice addition!

Coin slots are lame

What you won’t hear about is how over time they self tighten as you go through a good round count. This is where their choice to use a coin slot instead of an actual driver becomes a problem. You can no longer take it off with a penny, and because it’s a coin slot, you can’t take it off with a screwdriver either. This is why you see agency trade in TLR’s everywhere. I suggest searching because if you plan to shoot regularly, these will have to be destroyed to be removed as you can no longer change the battery. Don’t listen to the reviews, just trust me and do yourself a favor by searching Streamlight stripped screws.
