Awesome visual clarity, comfort, adjustment
By Looking To Grow on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2018
I bought the mirrored "titanium" MP Exceed goggles from Amazon and the Yellow Exceed goggles with clear lenses from another source (but also available from Amazon). The Titaniums are pricey, but they are ideal for my purpose: open-water swim racing. The optics are very, very good. No "fuzziness" like you see in other types of plastic lenses. And I have not noticed any fogging yet after 3 weeks of use of both goggles. I use the Yellow MP Exceed clear lens goggles more - in pool practices. One thing I've noticed is that they "gather light". That is, everything is bright - underwater and above water - and then when I take the goggles off the pool space appears slightly darker. That's good for indoors. An odd thing: When I look at the pool bottom as I swim, the pool tiles at the bottom of the deep end are in sharp focus, but the shallow end tiles are not in focus. Some optical property of the polycarbonate lenses? I tried to get my son to wear these, but he says that the lenses are too close to the eyes, that his eyelashes touch the lens and that bothers him. So some swimmers might have an issue with that. Peripheral vision is fantastic with no weird visual transitions when glancing sideways. Very clear. The straps are really nice - extremely easy to adjust balance between top strap and bottom strap. The strap just slides easily through the guides at the sides of the lenses. Overall, I'm really glad I purchased the Yellow clear lens MP Exceeds (at $29). They're well worth the extra price. We will see whether I buy another "titanium" at $39. But the performance is great. Absolutely no comfort issues with the seals either - no "welts"!

Lots of small scratches on the inside upon opening.
By Nicole M. on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2016
These googles are great except for the scratches. They were delivered yesterday and I kept the plastic film on the lenses as I tried them on at home, taking special care not to touch the inside. I fited the strap, place them back in the plastic case and put them in my pool bag. I showed up to swim tonight and removed the goggles from the case in the locker room. I peeled off the plastic film from the lenses and as I was fitting them on my head, I noticed the tiny scratches in the light. I inspected them closely and it almost looks like tiny shatter marks. I was so bummed out. I put them back in the case and left them in my locker while I used my crappy old speedos. These goggles are beautiful. The slight blue tint is very calming and I was expecting it to be perfect for indoor smimming. I was so impressed with their fit and light weight. I was really excited to test them in the pool, but unfortunatey, it wasn't meant to be. The scratches are distracting. It almost looks like they were used or heat warped them and caused fractures. If the company would like to make this right, I'll happily change my star rating. I'm so disappointed because my socket rockets are killing my eyeballs and now I'll have to endure them for another swim tomorrow.
