Sport Research Sweet Sweat Waist Trimmer

This is just an initial review, since I just got the item last week, and have only worn it a few times since. Pros: works as advertised, no ifs ands or buts; the velcro fastener is wide and easy to secure; nice thick material, gives the impression it is both durable and high quality. Cons: shapeless unisex item, leaves bulges and gaps for those of us females with actual figures; awkward to walk around in (I can't quite imagine what strenuous exercising would be like for me); material hoards the sweat; a little on the pricey side before the 'recommended' gel (and no trial/sample). Overall, my initial assessment is that while it works, since it does not come with a sample of the supposed enhancing gel to be more effective, the product is just really good -- not great. A product that needs something more can't be considered great. In addition, as stated, it is uncomfortable to walk around in because of its form, so it's not flush against my skin at all times and not as effective. I'll update if I feel anything changes, but I'm not singing it's praises right now. *also note, I bought the arm bands, and they are one size also/relatively formless, and the straps are an inconvenience (even tho i can secure them fine, the style digs into my arms). If you're considering them both, think long and hard.
