The Best Pack I Will Ever Own

I do most of my traveling on planes. Not having a bulky, inflexible frame makes this viable to compress and put in the overhead bin of an aircraft. This holds a lot of stuff. The detachable daypack makes daytripping while traveling so so convenient. Being able to cover the straps when checking it in as luggage prevents the straps getting caught and snagged in airport belts, and that’s a really under-rated detail. This is legit the best pack I will probably ever own.

Awkward and Annoying

I really wish it had straight jacket compression.I like it because it's an all-in-one and I can carry a lot. But when it's not full, it becomes a "droopy backpack" which I hate. The inside stabilizing straps only work when the pack is completely full. I got a bigger bag to have the option for packing for a few months or for a couple of days. As it turns out, A WEEKEND BAG, THIS IS NOT.The compression straps are only for the front of the bag, which means, all of the weight is towards the daypack. Bad idea. When it's full, and you have the daypack on the back, it's hard to center the weight, and the pack pulls me backwards. It's awkward and embarrassing. I can literally only carry this with the daypack on the front.I see I am in the minority, so maybe this just isn't for me. I am 5' 1'' 120 lbs. Maybe I'm too short?Still on the hunt for the perfect bag. Sigh.
