Nice and compact alternative to Cornhole
By Ben on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2025
Got this to keep in our small camper where space, and due to weight capacity of our tow vehicle, cargo weight has to be limited. We used to play this years ago at other campgrounds but they called it redneck horseshoes. Anyway, it takes a minute to assemble or break down, but it's easy enough. It's a fun game whether you play but the rules or make up your own and it's a lot quieter than Cornhole for sure. It packs up into a nice small bag that doesn't take up much space at all.

Not the Usual Quality of Amazon Basics Products
By Jerry on Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2024
We were disappointed with two aspects of this set. 1) The woven rope that connects the balls will unravel if the cut ends are not processed properly. Unravelling is usually prevented by either binding the ends securely (like the ends of shoelaces) or by melting the tip of the rope. The ends of the ropes on this set are tied in a knot and then a dab of hot glue is applied where the rope exits the ball. However, some of the knots on our set were not pulled tight, nothing was done to prevent the rope ends from unravelling, and the hot glue does not adhere well to the rope material. I fixed these problems by using the edge of a soldering iron to fuse the rope tips by melting the rope material (you can also carefully use an open flame to do this), retied the knots that had come loose, and tightened us the knots that had not been pulled tight. A few of the knots appeared to be still tight, but there was no identifiable end of rope extending past the knot; for these I just melted the end of the knot and will hope for the best. I suspect that the rope / ball assembly is done by hand and this product definitely has a quality control problem. 2) The plastic ladder pieces fit very snugly, and several joints required the use of a rubber mallet to seat them fully. This provides a rigid structure, but I doubt I will never be able to disconnect the pieces to place them in the provided storage bag. The joints should go together and come apart easily by hand, as have all the other ladder ball sets I have used.
