Great day pack. I use it everyday.

This pack is just about perfect for my needs. I've been fighting with a too-small daypack for too long now. This item is a bit roomier, with more pockets to organize my stuff in, and the pockets are a good size for commuting back and forth to work or going out on a day hike. I don't go anywhere without a first aid kit and something to write on as well as a few other indispensable items. Outer side pocket is large enough for a Nalgene water bottle or a thermos, and you can easily carry two more thermos bottles inside the pack with room left over for a jacket and such. The straps are very comfortable on my shoulders even with the weight of two full thermos bottles. I like the molle loops that let you add additional storage pouches (for binoculars, for example) if you feel the need. The material is stout and the zippers are also beefy. My only complaint, which I believe will go away over time is that the material is so stiff that it's sometimes a bit hard to pull the zippers up and down. I'd rather have it stout than flimsy and this is obviously such a minor concern it hasn't affected my rating. I believe the problem will disappear when the material softens up with use.

Kinda disappointed
By Jose M. on Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2025
For context I owned the same backpack type before my recent purchase and it was great. It held up for several years (3-4) until I broke the backpack from the chest strap (couldnt repair since dont know how to resow a new strap). I decided to repurchase the same type and color for consistency. I know I've had mine for longer so the color is different but this pack is yellower than tan, has many loose strands, and the elastic straps are falling apart. I'm disappointed at the lowering of quality. It works as a backpack but the lower quality control makes me rethink any further purchases from this brand or vendor.
