Love so much after 10 years bought two more
By Oh Baby on Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2022
I rarely write reviews, but hope others will love these chairs as much as I do. I bought three of these about 10 years ago (probably longer, I don't recall exactly) and have used them a lot for ball games, swim meets, trips to the park, camping, fishing or setting up to wait outside for car repairs etc. I keep one in my trunk and am amazed at how many occasions I get it out to use and get to read comfortably in fresh air outside of waiting rooms. After having three of them for many years, I wanted more because my family always chooses these chairs to sit in because they are so comfortable and we fight over them. I figured they wouldn't make them anymore, but I was thrilled to see they still do and bought two more! Then, I thought that when I got them they would be made cheaper; I couldn't believe it when I got them as it seems they are still made the same. Unbelievable. I love how I sit down kind of low so my posterior thighs aren't getting pressed into and my legs are as comfortable as if I had a stool to prop my legs up on. It is not too low that it isn't easy to get in and out of though. I am 5'4" but my tall family members (6'2") love the chairs as well. Also, I sit down in it like a hammock, but the headrest is key because it props my head up so I don't have to hold my head up to read or watch games. I can sit for hours in pure comfort, no back ache or anything. I love the side pockets to put things in while I am sitting in it and I love the insulated pocket that helps keep my drinks and yogurt cold. I also love the drink holders (actually handy to toss in car keys and my phone). I am tempted to buy a couple more in case they stop making them. One big complaint, however, is they are made in China. I try hard not to buy anything made in China, but sometimes one has to. . . Also, someone else mentioned that the chair cannot be folded into the carrying case and that is true. I eventually threw my cases away as they are useless. I wish all manufacturers would try reinserting their products into the overly compact cases they supply and make the cases large enough to actually put the product BACK IN after it is initially taken out. I have this complaint with MANY items like this (tents, sleeping bags, etc.).

These Chairs Do Not Last Long
By D. Eng on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2021
We bought 3 of these chairs a little over a year ago (July 2020). We do a lot of car camping and they are a little bigger/ bulkier than I would have liked so if you need to pack a lot of gear, these will take up a bit of room. The chair itself is very comfortable, love the pockets and the mini cooler bag that is built into the arm rest. They are the perfect height for sitting besides state park fire pits. Our first casualty was just April 2021. One of the plastic brackets that supports the base of the seat broke. Now if you sit in it that corner sags down pretty far making it unsuitable for sitting. We thought it was just a fluke and continued to use the other 2.The same thing happened to our second chair this weekend. Carrying strap broke on this chair about a month ago.We are not big people, I am 5'6" 160 lbs, my wife is 5'0" 110lbs and I have a 10 year old boy. These are expensive if you need to replace them every year and I would never bought these if I knew they will only last a season. We have REI chairs that are going on 5-6 years old, they are just too low for the camp fires! Now I need to search again for new chairs!
