Excellent EDC
By Flyingkiwi on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2019
I'm very impressed with this little knife. Knife arrived very sharp and it perfect size for daily carry and use. They used to say Spyderco does the best design, Benchmade does the best fit & finish, and SOG does the best grind. This knife does have near perfect fit & finish and grind. Aus 8 is not the best steel; but more than adequate for my daily use. Thin blade is perfect for food prep and opening mails/boxes. Button lock is joy to use; and the lock is easy to use (which I need for safety around kids). This knife reminds me of old Benchmades such as mini Ascender or Enigma. I'm really enjoying this knife. PRO: size, fit & finish, button lock, deep pocket clip, aluminum handle, thin blade, fast deployment CON: assisted opening, safety is difficult to disengage, recurve may be challenging to sharpen, finger grooves, does it really require liners? VERDICT: excellent small EDC pocket knife; one of the best for current price (33.99) if you can look past the AUS8 Here's some of my daily carries: Benchmade Emissary (470-1) and Victorinox serrated Spartan

Snappy action, faulty pivot.

Loved the action on this knife, however the pivot was definitely a weak point on this model. Definitely not a hard use knife.
