great purchase

We went with this model (foam tires) because we live in an area with pesky thorns and such, where air tires never last. Even though the tires are foam, they ride well- they are not a hard plastic (not the noisy plastic you see on some ride on toys), they are firm but not hard. The rest of the bike is well built- it is lightweight and perfect for my almost 3 year old. I wasn't sure what to expect due to the lower price point on this model compared to the other kazam models, but I think it's just great and probably the price is lower just due to the foam tires vs air tires on the other kazam bikes. Overall, we are really happy with this bike.

Quality is lacking

This is a great deal for a balance bike and it has some nice features like the foot rest and the cushioned handlebar ends. But, the quality of the product is lacking. There were some obvious painting flaws on it that were touched up with what looks like nail polish, and was definitely not done with care. The tools to build it were also freely floating in the box and therefore caused more scratches to the paint. Now, I know soon enough kids are going to scratch the heck out of this bike, but it's a bummer to give this bike as a gift to someone when it looks like it's been through the wringer already. You do get what you pay for it seems.
