MAXPEDITION 0403BR FatBoy Versipack

Very well made but this one is too heavy duty and too many pockets for the small size. It's very stiff new but may break in with use. The ergonomics are poor in design. The outside pockets are too small to hold Smart Phones or Glasses. They will fit a small Mag-light, pocket knife and Leatherman if thats what you carry. The top flap pocket is so thin, it would only fit a few credit cards, and maybe a few keys but not the average key ring. The outside front pocket has a useless small pouch that would not hold anything securely. The front pocket would hold a small billfold and a cell phone but if your cell phone was to ring, you may miss the call by the time you unlatch the main flap and unzip the flap on the front pocket. The pocket for the pistol would fit a compact pistol at best. If you fill up the many small outside pockets, it intrudes the main storage compartment to the point of making it worthless for anything but small items. Back to the drawing board on this one. Even though I don't like this particular bag, I would continue to purchase other Maxpedition products.
