My favorite folding knife
By Ross on Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2016
I own a lot of pocket knives, and this one is my favorite by far. I have used many spring-assisted and some ball bearing assisted knives and this product stands out by being smooth, quick, and dependable. With many assisted "flipper" knives, the screws loosen and the blade alignment is knocked out of place, usually due to pressure from the locking mechanism (after owning this knife for a year I have not experienced this problem.) The knife looks great and is relatively scratch resistant. The blade is sharp and is of adequate size for most people as an edc knife. The only minor complaint I have is that the pocket clip is slightly flimsy and is prone to bending, which may cause it to fall out of your pocket. Great knife, decent price.

Great Knife Unless You Actually Want To Open It
By Aerieudite on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2019
BladeReviews.com says "the blade pops open reliably with the push of a finger." They must have really strong fingers - on the knife I received, it is impossible to open the blade while holding the knife in one hand. I have to hold it with both hands and use a thumb to apply a relatively HUGE amount force to open it. I don't have an appropriate scale, but I estimate 30 to 50 lbs of force, supposedly from your index finger, to get it to open. It's definitely not a "one-handed" knife. With that much force propelling it, of course it "snaps open." The BladeReviews.com 2015 review doesn't mention having problems open the knife, so maybe something has changed. I'm contacting CRTK to for guidance and possible replacement. Except for being unable to open it, the quality on the CRTK is solid, the blade is wickedly sharp out of the box, and it's a beautiful Ken Onion design. BUT - while the blade's lower-quality AUS8 steel (China, Japan, ?? - they don't say) would be reasonable for a $30 knife, this is a $79.99 knife (currently $50.48 on Amazon), so I'd expect higher quality steel. Best alternative - the Kershaw Leek is almost identical (Ken Onion design). It uses higher a quality Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel blade and costs $48.75 on Amazon. Using one hand, it opens smoothly with reasonable (achievable) force. Itts higher quality steel should maintain its edge better than the Eros. The blade on the Leek is a bit taller than the CRTK 3" Eros, so there may be some uses where the Eros has an advantage - if you can get it open.
