One of best magnifiers on the market I had the Burris a Eotech G33 and the vortex VMX-3T, The glass on all three is the same don't let anyone tell you different. Then you start to see what makes them different. The Eotech was build the best to take a lot of abuse. The Burris and Vortex are nice also but the eotech on the outside is much better the eotech mount is spring loaded with better the both Burris and Vortex that uses a push button style, but that's it. The Eotech and the Vortex eye relief is 2.2 the Burris is 2.5 Like I said the glass is the same on all three tie The Burris and Eotech both have quick release mounts The Eotech is very nice but the eye relief could be better and the price could be a lot lower maybe $250-$350 range The Vorex is nice But the eye relief could be better and the mount should flip to the right instead of the left, yeah I know you can turn the mount around but not the push button is on the outside REALLY that's Crap. Make a mount for right and left handed shooters. Burris to me is the best Magnifer of the three same glass flips to the correct side quick release better eye relief and $40 more the Vortex and $350 lower than Eotech for the same outcome. The vortex also come with a no questions ask lifetime warranty.

Doesn't Work For Me

The height of this magnifier doesn't align well at all with the Sig Sauer Romeo 5. I purchased a 1/3 co-witness mount as the AR Tripler is supposed to be aligned to 1.65" center line and with the 1/3 co-witness mount the Romeo 5 was then too high. You could still see through okay but I was getting bad starburst effects with the red dot. I simply can't recommend this magnifier for use with the Romeo 5, I don't think it's a good fit at all. Also the eye relief is terrible. If it's 2 inches I would be shocked, my nose was right on the charging handle, and I was still fighting for a clear picture. The magnifier itself has clear glass so I have no complaints there, it's just the alignment and eye relief thats poor. The quick disconnect mount is quite nice as well. I wanted this magnifier to work for me but it has fallen short.
