Brixton Messer Fedora

I'll start by telling you I am a bit of a hat snob. Most all of my hats are expensive wool, rabbit and beaver felt hats. (Stetson, Mayser and the like.) I wanted a less expensive hat to wear to work that I didn't mind exposing to a dusty sometimes dirty warehouse environment. Caught this hat "on sale" so I jumped on it. Boy am I glad I did. Hat is right on the money size wise. Looks exactly as pictured an is very comfortable. The hat band is obvious fake leather but holds my fancy feather firmly in place. The wool felt is surprisingly nice. The hat is well structured while still soft to the touch. I've been in light rain several times with no adverse effects to the felt or the sizing. My customers like it a lot better than my dirty old ball cap. If your new to fedora style hats this is a great hat to start with. If you find you don't care for this style of hat your ony out a few bucks. It's best to test the waters of mens dress hats without spending the big bucks. Once you hear people tell you "you look great in that hat" you'll be hooked. This hat suprised me with its comfort and style. Quality stylish hat are making a comeback with young and old alike.
