Easy to assemble, quiet, sturdy and solid.
By Wine Guy on Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2020
This unit came ahead of schedule. It is easy to assemble with tools provided. Most of the fittings are based on using an L wrench. The nuts and bolts provided are all of top quality. The fit is also excellent so putting it together is not a problem. I suppose it took about 40 minutes but mostly because of carefully reading and checking the instruction. Once together. We put it in place on a Sunny mat which is a very good idea to also purchase. Moving it isn’t hard as there are small sheets at the front bottom. The unit sits very sturdily and without any rocking or vibration. The feet are adjustable to make sure it sits well. When in use, the unit is relatively quiet where one could easily watch TV. The computer is easy to use but it is reset on command and not able to continuously track more than one person. I would advise having a small book around for each to write down the record of each ride. The information given is time, speed, mileage covered and calories burnt. It can be set to display anyone of these or to continue rotate between these four metrics. There is no place for a screen or laptop or phone at the handle bar area. The saddle can be adjusted in height and fore and aft. The handle bar is fixed as is the tilt of the saddle. One thing would greatly improve this unit is the handle bar height and the seat tilt could be adjusted. It would also be nice if the seat could be swapped out for any regular bike saddle. Overall for this price point, this is an attractive, small profile, quiet and competent stationary exercise bike. It isn’t any where close to as enjoyable as riding outside in nature. But with our severe winters, this will have to do.

Good Basic Exercise Bike But Frame May Fail Prematurely
By Gerald Levy on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2016
This is my second Sunny Fitness SF-B1203 Indoor Cycling Trainer. The first one only lasted 18 months after which a crack developed in the frame which caused the seat post to wiggle sideways thus making the bike unsafe to ride because continued use would probably eventually have caused the seat post to break off altogether and hurl me off. So why did I buy a second unit if the first one failed so prematurely? Because aside from the unexpected failure of the frame (after the one-year warranty period had expired, of course), this is still the best exercise bike I have purchased, and I have purchased about ten of them over the past 30 years. I did a lot of spinning on this bike, and although I am only 5'5"tall and weigh about 135 pounds, this probably placed undue stress on the frame and eventually caused a stress fracture. So I intend to use the second bike only for sit-down pedaling and not for stand-up spinning. Otherwise, this bike, like the original one, was very easy to assemble and has a sturdy, quiet chain drive, which is preferable to belt drive, whith which I have encountered trouble on every belt-drive model I have purchased (see my review of the Sunny Fitness SF-B910 Upright Mag Cycle elsewhere on Amazon). I do not use the fitness monitor and have mounted a small, clip-on fan in its place to keep me cool while I'm pedaling vigoursly. This is the only chain-drive exercise bike that I am aware of that weighs less than 80 pounds. Why is this a big deal? Because try unboxing and assembling an exercise bike yourself that weighs upwards of 80, 100 or even 150 pounds or more. And try moving it around, even on its rollers or wheels. If it had not been for the quality issue with the frame, I would have given this bike5 stars. This is a very good basic exercise bike, but I do not recommend using it for spinning, as it will shorten the life of the frame, especially if you weigh more than 150 pounds.Pros: Easy to assemble; quiet, smooth and dependable chain drive; relatively light weight ; easy to adjust resistance control.Cons: Frame is not durable enough for spinning; small front rollers not very helpful for moving bike around; fixed handlebars may not fit some users; seat is somewhat hard and uncomfortable, although this can be remedied with a gel seat pad or some extra foam cushioning.
