Great Looking High Quality Watch!
By Mike on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2025
This watch is fantastic! It looks amazing and it feels amazing on my wrist. It is heavy in a good way (It feels like it is a quality piece of craftsmanship). It looks and feels like whoever built it really cared about what they were doing. The glass is crystal clear and the size is really nice for someone like me who has bad vision. The band is super comfortable and also feels like good quality. I highly recommend this watch. It keeps perfect time which is another huge plus. I have other watches that I need to adjust by a minute or 2 every month. No need with this watch! I highly recommend this watch and I feel it is a good value for the price.

Nice watch but, sometimes, hard to tell the time.
By Kingfisher on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2024
I purchased this watch in mid-2023 and am happy with it overall. This is a big, heavy watch, which is the primary reason I purchased it. The bracelet isn’t tapered, which I prefer. This watch isn’t for everyone so consider carefully, especially if you have a small wrist. The dial contains clock standard hours and minutes hands that are lumed, an orange seconds hand, and a date aperture. The dial has a nice 3-D appearance. The chronometer has four subdials; the 3 and 9 o’clock subdials contains the hours and minutes respectively, the orange watch seconds hand also serves as the chronometer seconds hand, the 12 o’clock subdial has the tenths and hundredths dials, and the 6 o’clock subdial is for thousandths. There are three pushers; one to switch between the watch and chronometer, another to start the chronometer, and a third to reset. The crown includes a screw-in thread and a tachymeter is included. PROS - This is a great watch if you like big, heavy watches. This watch does not look like any other watch of its size so it nicely stands out. - The watch includes a polished, blue bezel. - The arched crystal is a nice touch. - The orange hands nicely complement the rest of the watch. CONS - The lums on the hands don’t last long. I don’t like wearing this watch in the dark. - It is sometimes hard for me to tell the time. I like wearing this watch on bright, sunny days, and I often get the time by reading the time at an angle. The dial makes reading the time harder. - The 12 o’clock subdial contains one blue hand for tenths (seconds) and an orange dial for hundredths. The blue dial is almost impossible to read, especially that it is below the orange dial. Bulova should have reversed the colors to make reading easier. - It is possible for the seconds hand of the chronometer to be misaligned at the start. I took it in for service but later found a way to manually reset it. Bulova should include instructions on how to reset the seconds chronometer hand if its misaligned at the start. I recommend considering buying the stainless steel or gold watch instead of the gray because the lighter colored hands will be easier to read. The dark blue against the gray background is sometimes hard to read.
