Made a little boy's summer
By JSL on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2023
Bought this for my 7-yr-old's birthday. He practically lives on it now. It seems sturdy enough for an adult to jump on as well. My husband (160 lbs) and son play on it together. The things to note: 1) It was a little tougher to assemble than we thought. One of the pipes had a dented end. My mechanically-inclined 7-yr-old somehow got the dent out with large pliers. 2) I'd recommend a different screwdriver than the one provided. It was very difficult to get the screws in place with the one provided but relatively easy when we used our own. I think the provided screwdriver is either the wrong size or maybe too shallow. 3) Getting the frame pieces together tightly can be tricky. Sometimes a small rubber mallet helped. 4) Neither my husband nor I have a lot of upper body strength, so stretching the trampoline mat into place was very hard for us. We'd have to hold the rest of the trampoline in place while both of us pulled on the mat/springs as hard as we could (yes, we placed the springs in the order directed). Sometimes we still couldn't generate enough force between us. What I ended up doing was grabbing braided Paracord (enough to hold my weight), threading it through a rung in the mat, making a long loop by tying a half knot that was stable but easy to undo, and placing the loop over the frame of the trampoline. Then, I stepped into the loop to use my body weight to pull the mat while my husband guided the spring in place. This would be a lot simpler for people with enough upper body strength to just pull the springs into place using the provided hand tool. 5) Keep the spring tool. My husband jumped on it first to test it. The first few times, a spring popped out and we had to put it back. This problem seems to have resolved after the first day or so. Despite these minor issues, I feel like the trampoline was a good buy. We've had it assembled for about a month with no more notable problems

Be prepared to replace after a couple of years
By Beth McGuire on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2015
I bought this for my son's 7th birthday in June of 2013, so we haven't had it quite 2 years at this point. It arrived missing a couple of pole caps which Skywalker replaced. It seems missing parts are common. I can't attest to how easy it was to put together. I had a couple of male friends assemble it and it took them a couple of hours. For the first 6 months, it was great! My son loved it and jumped almost every day. The first winter (we live in the Dallas, TX area) we had some ice and one of the poles bent in. Not a huge issue but I couldn't bend it back and now the net sags in one one side. After the first year, the blue mat started fraying and quickly completely tore apart and the black inner foam has pretty much all come out. So I would have to say this is a 2-year product before it starts looking like crap. If it were just the mat, I would live with it but the pole that causes the net to sag has become a hazard. My son was just jumping and as he was coming down from a jump his arm caught on the top of the net and he nearly broke his arm. With all that being said, I am about to purchase a new one, the 15' this time. The price has come down since we got this one and it's not much more than the 10'. I still think this is a decent (not outstanding) product for the price. Just be prepared that it won't last beyond a couple of years. I don't feel we were abusive in any way and the weather where we live only has a few days of ice or snow a year. I can't imagine living up north and having the weight of snow all winter long on the net and thus bending the poles. Hopefully we will get a couple of more years out of the new one. Deducting one star for the poor quality of the blue mat and missing parts (since this seems to be a major problem for them) and another star for the pole that bent.
