First , let me just say this stuff I highly highly highly recommended buying this it has helped me so much to be able to move again Without pain every time I take a step. I have a torn meniscus in my knee and without this Type I couldn't do what I can do in my everyday life and that includes going to the gym. This tape was recommended by my knee doctor. If you know how to apply it correctly there is a wrong way and a right way that's what my Doctor has shown me If you apply it the right way, you can tell a major difference.

KT Tape has made some bold claims about what their product can do. I gave it a shot in hopes it would help with my shoulder stability and discomfort after an injury. I have not found KT Tape to be effective at reducing pain, improving stability of the joint, or any other major clinical phenomena. What it does do, though, is remind you that you are injured. And this can be important if you are supposed to be limiting your range of motion due to an injury. When you move a limb with KT Tape on it, the pull will remind you to be careful. This makes it a good option when you are trying to function with an injury that requires a certain amount of immobility. Of course, you could accomplish the same with any other athletic tape, but KT tape looks a little less sloppy. It's expensive for what it is, and sometimes sticks to itself while you are installing it. If you install it properly, it will last for a number of hours. If you install it improperly, it will start to come undone rather quickly. KT Tape has some uses, but it is not a miracle. It's just tape.
