This Invicta is a good looking watch. That said, here’s the problem with this watch, and many Invicta watches… The watch glass is mineral crystal. There are other watches in the same price range that use sapphire crystal. This means that the glass is more prone to crack. When I took the watch to get sized, at my jeweler who deals in, and repairs high end watches. As soon as he saw it was an Invicta, he told me that when the time eventually comes, he would not be willing to change the battery. My jeweler went on to say that while Invictas are good looking watches, the back cover can be very difficult to remove. As a result, when applying the necessary pressure to remove the back cover, it’s common that the front glass breaks. He said if only they used sapphire glass, that wouldn’t be an issue. Sapphire glass is better suited to protect the glass from scratches, and any other potential damage. Again, there are a number of other watch manufacturers who sell their products in the same price range, and still use sapphire glass. Come on Invicta, keep up with your competition, you have fantastic looking watches. Upgrade the glass material, so the watches can continue to look fantastic, and so my jeweler is willing to change the batteries.
