A STOVE THAT'S NICE AND HOT
By TXLin50 on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2011
Our new Texsport super high output dual burner with the piezo lighter is a great propane stove. It has a very nice heavy duty grate and the "super output" burners are really super hot. On Amazon it is advertised as dual 20,000 BTU burners but the specification plate on the stove stated that the burners are each 10,000 BTUs. We don't understand why it is stated as 10,000 BTUs on the stove and sold as 20,000 BTUs but we are totally convinced they are hotter than what we had. We fried fish and the recovery time for the heat of the grease was very short, and tonight we blackened chicken breast and again the skillet got hot fast and cooked fast. We are very satisfied with this stove.

Wrong stove pictured
By Jesse D. Scott, Jr. on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2012
The stove pictured in this ad is not the same stove shown on the Texsport website for the same Texsport item number. The current Texsport Super High Output stove (item# 14227) is an exact copy of the Camp Chef "Everest" Mountain Series stove (probably made in the same Chinese factory). This could explain the other review about the product received being of lower BTU output than stated in the ad. The stove pictured appears to be one of the lower output Texsport stoves.
