Glad I bought it - pro and cons
By jeremy d ellett on 10/30/2015 3:22:31 PM
I did not like the power block (other product) due to hand placement but I bought this due to the u-tube vids and other reviews on mulit sites. I am glad I did, I have had it 2 months, Easy, fast, simple, plenty of hand room (even 2 handed)Color to weight reading is easy, sturdy and next to no movement at all which makes it quiet. The the balance of the block is almost perfect too so you forget it is oddly shaped/square verse a ball

1 down side MAKE SURE YOU GET a kettlebell forearm pad, due to the sqr shape and a few minor semi sharp edges you WILL get your arms marked up with out it.

Good product - cautionary tale of bruising.
By Kindle Customer, for real on 7/17/2014 12:21:41 PM
I ordered this kettle bell (block) because it is adjustable and would allow me to increase the intensity of my workout without having to keep buying a new, heavier kettle bell. And it was priced in my budget range. It works exactly as advertised and is adjustable from 5, 8, 12, 16, 20 pounds. It is very easy to change the weight and I do not worry that the plates will come loose during my workout. I have no complaints about the quality of the product. I wanted to write this review to emphasize the one negative others have mentioned - Unfortunately because of the shape of the weight, and the type of exercises done with a kettle bell, it is extremely uncomfortable to use. I developed bruises on my forearms where the edges of the weight hit during my workouts. As other reviewers have mentioned I have found a work around by wearing pads on my forearms. I also purchased grip tape (same as for a tennis racquet) to wrap the handle. As you are doing your research, it is something to keep in mind. Hindsight has me thinking I would have been better off with a different style adjustable kettle bell.
