Great piece of kit
By netPally on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2015
Short version. Very comfortable. Very adjustable. Built for larger frame then able to scale it tight as needed. Probably not best choice for concealed carry or 1-handed operation. Long version. This is my 3rd piece of Blackhawk! Spec-Ops gear. For whatever reason the things they build make sense to my brain and how it thinks this should all be. NutNfancy calls it a "system" and that's what I call everything that's a group of stuff that works together anyway, so basically this Blackhawk stuff always seems to be the only thing (besides Galco) that fits my system perfectly... So first I bought a special stock from Blackhawk! for my shotgun (love it!), then I bought a load bearing Blackhawk! belt for my IWB Galco holster. 100% satisfied. Then I thought that would be it, I would be set for a while. I casually looked at shoulder holsters but figured my Galco would suffice until I could get a Bravo Concealment... But here's the thing... I don't need to concealed carry all the time in this state. Some times open carry is okay... in houses, private property, etc.. Warning now, personal stuff for context. My rear end doesn't like to hold onto anything past pocket change weight. Cellphones, wallets, pocket knife, doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how tight I can get a belt. (Basically I'm all shoulders, no butt). It will be either slightly loose enough to where it does no good or so tight my insides stop functioning properly. And yes the belt goes around my waist but it still upsets my digestion if I get too tight. Very frustrating! So I started looking specifically at holsters because this couldn't continue through the summer for just normal carry. These days you want to be carrying 24x7 and silly to mess with the IWB stuff around the house, camping, etc.. in the summer. Anyway. After struggling 4-5 times, maybe even more looking for a shoulder holster that made sense to my system I said to myself, "duh, I need to check Blackhawk!" and this was the second item that popped up. The first didn't have a mag pouch I think, and this one did, and some nifty attachment points, so I instantly knew this is exactly what I wanted. I've been wearing it nonstop for a week and it's just GREAT! As others have said, not the best for a concealed carry system. Not going to unholster 1-handed. This is for if you need it on you and ready but comfortable, safe, and secure for a busy active life. Funny thing is, the thing that made me 100% sure is another reviewer had also said they didn't have a butt, got this, problem solved, and I was like, okay, finally! So yes. My sidearm doesn't ever leave my side again. It's just under my arm instead of trying to pull my pants down all the time. In the fall and winter I'll go back to IWB but spring and summer and in the house its under my arm. If you are used to wearing a backpack like I am all day anyway then you will forget this is on immediately after putting it on. So, so so so nice. I put it on when I wake up and take it off when I go to bed and that's it. My first piece of real official "kit" for my "system" and I absolutely LOVE IT! Hope this helps someone. Carry consistently, Get training, be prepared, be safe. Take care everyone.

Junk
By XP on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2016
Junk product, too short or too long; not a good fit. I would have given this 0 stars if Amazon would let me. Product has been sitting on the shelf since day one. Horrible way to carry a gun. Too fat? Too skinny? You cut? Stay away!!
