Cole Haan Men's Pinch Penny Loafer

I am 64 years old, and this is without a doubt the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased. Stiff like wood. I suffered through half of the first day wearing them in a work situation and finally had to walk around in my sock feet until I could get another pair of shoes to wear. They bit into the back and sides of my heels like metal. The next morning I couldn't wear them for 2 minutes. I don't see how I could wear these long enough to have a hope of "breaking them in". "100% leather" means nothing if they are not wearable. These shoes are very nice to look at, but I am going to have to find some artificial way of loosening them up (assuming they even can be) or I will need to throw them away. No wonder they were half price, and still I spent 80 bucks for something I can only look at. Highly disappointed, Eric
