Coleman Montana 6-Person Tent

If you are looking to order this tent and you intend to camp in an open area where it is cold and there may be wind, my best suggestion is to get a large tarp and blankets to go over the top. I had to learn the hard way. There are two vents at the top of this tent and the doorway opens up to those vents when you have the rainfly on. Cold air falls while warm air rises and with the cold wind blowing in through the vents at the top of the tent and displacing the warm air I was generating with a heater buddy.. it didn't matter that we had sleeping bags, cots, and 8 queen size blankets on top of us.. we were still cold. Another point in the function of this tent is that it is not super easy to set up, the poles are confusing at times.. and one of the poles broke on our first camping trip. While the wind comes in through the vents at the top I will say that it also felt like it was blowing straight through the tent. There was practically no protection aside from rain and even then a few drops did get into the tent. A cheaper option for summer camping, not so good for wind, rain and cold.
