Perfect for backpacking. But could be better, if matched with Vibram feet. Not sure if they fit-probably do fit. Need something to prevent sinking in forest duff and soft soils.One leg of stool sank in duff and stool leg got bentSo I threw it in garbage.Stool leg did not break, but it did bend.No back support, cannot lean back.

Within the first week of use the plastic fell off the back of the fabric. It took about six weeks for the legs to start to bend. I guess the chair would be OK if you use it every now and then, but I use it several times a day throughout the week. I am 135 pounds. I’ve had my Coleman camp stool for two years and it’s holding up well. I tried this one because I wanted something that was more compact and lighter.
