Rugged, durable, beast of a knife
By Dell on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2011
First purchased this knife before survival school figuring it would be a good blade to beat up, then toss it afterwards, instead of destroying another pocket knife I had become enamored with. In the end I loved this knife more than my faithful companion, a benchmade switchblade. Pros: *A durable, sharp bladed knife with weight to it. 440c stainless steel isn't as hard as carbon steel, but this blade still holds it's edge very well. *Easily and quickly opened (Either with thumb knobs or the hilt which sticks through the spine) *G10 handles... Not much else need be said about them *Half serrated blade for when the need arises. *Rugged grip for when your hands are sweaty or wet *The clip can be rearranged into 4 different configurations (If you like a specific configuration for the pocket/belt (Blade up/down, etc...)) *Holes on the butt end, so you can make a paracord lanyard or whatever you feel like *Never needed too, but the holes on the hilt can be used to turn the knife into a spear Cons: *This is a big knife, and will draw attention in public (I understand that the first version is smaller) *The grip on the spine of the handle can tear up delicate hands. That being said, I'm not a guerrilla, and have no problems with it. If you're in a situation where you need to grip it that hard, chances are that's the least of your problems. Bottom line is, this knife has survived daily use, survival school, and 3 deployments before I lost it and had to purchase another. Thank you Boker, for making a dependable knife
