Worth it.

Yes, it's expensive. This is not much different than any other Bench at a glance. When you start using it you'll notice the build quality, it's super solid. The range of adjustable angles is perfect for a home gym. The fold up is the best part to store in a closet. This is perfect for dumbells.

Item arrived damaged

The metal part has very large dings in it, which seems really hard to do. It also has black marks on it that we can't clean off (those didn't come across in the pictures due to lighting). The hardware package was open with pieces missing and no instructions. This was purchased as a gift so now we must scramble to return it - we can't give it since it looks used! We paid for new, as it was advertised.

We were seeking a bench that was not over sized for a woman. This bench is 16" high allowing one's feet to be flat on the floor when out level. The back is short enough that when doing reverse flyes [...] that one's face is not buried in the seat back. I have seen pictures of larger benches with guys where they were face into the seat backs. With reverse flies, the cutouts in the seat/saddle allow ones straight legs to clear the saddle and you do not need to spread your legs to clear an obstacle, allowing for good form and placement of your feet. When doing inclined seated work, the saddle cutouts allow ones legs to clear and be planted in good form. Large square seats do not allow this for large or small stature. So everything seems to work very well. My wife is really excited about this bench. [We have a old bench that is 21" high and my wife's feet do not rest on the floor when the back is flat. When doing reverse flies, to have her head and chin clear the seat back she had to be spreadeagled and on her tiptoes, so form was always horribly wrong. ] The bench is very solid. When bolting up the back lateral rail, have everything on a firm flat surface to get both legs in the same plane. The seat and seat back pivots have plastic washers that work well. These are bolted up in the factory. I tightened them a bit more, just enough, and there is then no play or wobble and it is then very solid. The brackets on the frame that hold the rear cross legs do need to bend in a bit during bolting up, so you will be tightening things down longer than expected. It would be best to have someone seated on the bench during tightening so this "distort to fit" is aided buy the bench been planted with some body weight. Perhaps overkill, but when you are an engineer, you think this way. All fasteners are 17mm hex and you will need tools. This bench is the right size for women and for most men as well. It is easy to assemble and mover around. Very solid. The design avoids the things that are horrible about other benches. Someone did make an effort to design a better bench instead of just making another bench without really looking at what needs to be accomplished and how these things are used. I highly recommend this product. We assembled on the ground floor and moving around on the back wheels was as very easy. We wheeled it down a hallway and found that the wheels made going down the basement steps extremely easy. So that was drama free.

I have over 10,000 hrs weight training experience across commercial, public and private training facilities worldwide. This allows for exposure to hundreds of pieces of training equipment, with benches as a major component. Based on this background I would rate this bench OUTSTANDING it’s price point. Certainly a five year life of daily usage on fabric before it might need repair to the edge seams is all that might be an issue. Other than that this is a life time piece of gear. I would think that anyone up to only the most extreme end of the general training individuals,( > than 6’ 250lbs, 300 lb bench press), would find this bench ideal for what it is. Solid, well made, near commercial grade versatile bench that is an excellent value.
Excellent - High Quality Bench

Let me preface this by saying I wish there was a 4.5 stars option, but there isn't. That being said, I really like this bench. I've had it for a couple of months now and love the look, quality and versatility of it. I can use it for dumbbell workouts or barbell workouts inside my cage. I can also use it for body weight training too. It's super easy to change the bench position too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it isn't the cheapest or best value in benches. At $200, it's a little on the pricey end of the spectrum for home use. Also, for benching, there is a ever so slight wobble that takes some getting used too. It's not nearly as bad as some other benches I've had, but it is there and it's more a function of the benches design than anything else. Anyway, I'd buy it again. BTW, the height is perfect - not to high like a lot of cheaper benches are. Also, the max weight capacity of 550lb isn't as high as I would have liked - I would think it would be higher.
Solid

This thing is solid. Like two steel beams. Comes assembled and only need to attach the longer base support. I already own a power tower so very well prepared for this type of assembly. It is recommended you have two ratchets with right sockets. Took me seconds with these tools. The Powerblock stand actually took longer to assemble. I love the ease of adjusting incline, just lift rest and lower to desired slot. The seat does have a slight wobble which may be weakest part of bench but hopefully does not prove to be a problem. The selling point for me is the dip attachment for this bench seems better than Ironmaster bench. The Ironmaster bench has this round metal behind the incline that looks sharp and prevents you from doing weighted dips. Also having to remove the seat for adjustments on the Ironmaster bench seems like a lot of work. The only downside is the foot supports are pure metal. I don't understand why there are not even those foam stickies and concluded they just want to make more money with their $100 mat which is a ridiculous price for a mat. I love their dumbbells which are expensive but well worth it considering there are nothing like them in the market right now. This bench I'm very impressed with construction and great price, too. The dumbbells stand is a bit overpriced but necessary so I ate it. The mat is needed, but I stopped there and got a different brand. You can get a better mat on Amazon for fraction of price.

Came mostly assembled, set up only took about 30 minutes. So far, it seems like a great bench for the price Initially, there was a wobble in the backrest when I laid back or set at an incline - the upper part of the bench wobbled back and forth, it seemed incredibly unstable, dangerous even, and I was getting ready to send it back and post a 1-star review until I took a look under the seat to see why it was wobbling. Turns out a few of the bolts had come a little loose during shipping - not enough to come out, but enough that they weren't holding everything firmly in place, which was the reason the backrest would wobble. A few turns with a monkey wrench to tighten everything up, and the bench is rock solid, I don't have any worries about benching on it anymore. Other reviewers have posted pictures and complained about the wheels on the back making it unstable or saying the bench can roll while working out - this is a mistake on their part. The wheels have a slight incline to them - when you're assembling the bench, the wheels should be bolted while curving up, away from the floor. There's a sticker near the wheels that says "Max weight: 550lbs" - that sticker should be up. If the wheels are touching the ground when the bench is flat, or you can't see the sticker - you bolted the wheels on upside down, so unscrew the bolts and turn them around

Sturdy and comfortable. Combined with the PowerBlock dumbbells, it allows for an effective and efficient workout in a confined space. Also, I have the option of adding the chin-up and dip bars to the bench if desired. Also, easily moved if need be.
