Tacstar 4-Shot Shell Carrier 12 Gauge

I'll try and make this short! Horrible product. REASONS: 1) First order was received open. It looked like someone had sent it back already and Tacstar passed it on to me. None the less, I tried putting it on and the nut wouldn't thread. I figured that's why someone sent it back. Returned for exchange. Amazon, was GREAT had it the next day. 2) Received the product. Same thing the screw and nut wouldn't thread. Used my calipers only to see that the nut was 4mm and the screw size was 5mm. Ain't happening! You might ask why didn't you just go and try to find a screw, or nut that fit. I did that at a speacialty hardware store. I found a screw to fit the nut in 4mm. The pin that is supposed to be removed is 5mm. I decided I didn't want the space in the receiver. Afraid of a malfunction. Instead of returning it, I HILLBILLIED IT. Yes, I just made that word up. I cut the exposed lip of the shot she'll holder top and bottom and used industrial velcroto to attach it to the receiver. It worked great for 4 shells and looks a lot better than that mounting plate over lapping the receiver. I basically bought a $30 plus plastic she'll holder. Would have been great if properly engineered. They couldn't be misized, but someone at quality control dropped the ball. I can only imagine how many people have returned this product because it was inproperly sized. Rating (- - 0 ) !
