Gunslick Vista Outdoor SLS Gun Maintenance Center

This bench is much more versatile than I anticipated. It is made of plastic, but feels thickly built and capable of fulfilling medium duty requirements as well as my light duty needs. It is more than I could ask for and the price is reasonable. I enjoy the hidden features like how it can be bolted down to a table if I want to. It is very well thought-out.

I was a little disappointed with the construction -- a little flimsy and the locking system allows the clamps to slide right off the base iff a little too much force is applied. if you want something to clean your guns on its fine but if you want to get into some more serious amateur gunsmithing go for something else.

I absolutely love this for working on my rifles and sighting in scopes. Love the pull out drawers to.

Looks good in pictures but it was a waste of money. The front gripping device kept falling off the stand. No matter how much I tightened the bolt it would fall off. Almost dropped my AR on the floor.

The "Match-Grade" Gun Maintenance Center was not what I was led to believe it was material wise and serviceable. I had asked for the same Maintenance Bench platform that was used to demonstrate the Weaver Scope Mounting kit featured in the video disk accompanying the kit I had purchased. I was assured the "Match-Grade" Maintenance Center I received in a box was that platform. I was deceived. Still I set it up and tried it out, mounting a new scope on my favorite rifle. The tension grips meant to hold the rifle fast kept slipping off their mounts causing me to spend extra time resetting them, This led to my having to remount the scope twice to assure the job was done right. The Maintenance Center I expected was obviously constructed out of steel and did not have vices that were slip-fitted. The one you sold me was made of plastic that was not suitable for more than one or two scope mounting jobs before it would be expected to fail completely. You sell it as a "Match-Grade" component to a professional gunsmith's workbench. I cannot agree with your "marketing" assessment and will now consider any further sales pitches on you behalf to be suspect until proven otherwise.

A functional gun vise for the budget minded rifle enthusiast. PROS: Adjustable padded foam clamps that will accommodate different sizes of stocks and forestocks. I use this for my AR 15 and it has no problem holding it's tactical handguards. The forestock rest/ clamp can be adjusted to the desired height with a single turn of a knob. The base has 6 rubber support pads on the bottom so it's safe to lay it on glass or tile surface. It has 2 drawer compartments where you can keep small cleaning tools and patches. CONS I wish it came with an adjustable middle support base to easily tilt the rifle to the desired angle. CHECK OUT MY PICS!

It is a great work bench and has 2 drawers ( I wish they are a little easier to open and close put the work. It has plenty of work space compartment to put all your cleaning supplies and then just go to town. It hold your rifles or pistols very well and is fully adjustable except for the span which is pretty fixed.

This is a nice set up for performing minor work on my rifles and while cleaning the guns. I don't care much for using it with my pistols as advertised. The ability to keep supplies and small tools in the drawers is convenient as well.

For the price it's a pretty good stand with storage. The cam action clamps for securing the gun tend to shave plastic but a little time with the file took care of it. The worst thing for me is that with a right handed gun the stand is backwards. With the drawers facing you it holds the gun with the barrel to the left, placing the ejection port and your view of the bore on the back side. Flip it around to have a better view inside the action and the drawers are on the back. I think it was designed by a lefty. Still, it's a minor annoyance for something that works pretty well.

The front part that holds the rifle keeps coming off. It pops off when I tighten it. The good reviews I read before I purchased this item does not match the actual quality of the item. I should have invested a little bit more for a more solid gun vise.
