Terrific fire pit. Easy to tote and cleanup.

We used this on a seven day backpacking trip, where a fire pan was required. It’s small enough to make it easy to carry, and durable enough to get knocked around without issue. When you build a fire in it, the air passages in the bottom of the pan, allow great airflow, making it easy to burn the fire all the way down to Ash. Would recommend.

Buy A Vegetable Steamer For Half Price

The unit is exactly the same dimensions as the “large folding vegetable steamer “ you can buy on Amazon. I purchased this for 22 dollars and the veggie steamer for about 12. Side by side burn test showed they both burn evenly when opened up. The difference is when the wood gets down to coals. Folding each unit proved the veggie steamer burned much better. The uco unit does not have enough vents while the veggie steamer has 100’s of holes in it. When you close the steamer up, a beautiful blue flame burned for well over an hour with little or no smoke out of the top hole. The uco smolders and can’t breathe. Also the steamer with its multiple holes offers a beautiful ambient light along with some great radiant heat. Save your money. This is literally the exact same construction as the steamer but costs 10 dollars more and is much less efficient.
