Machine washable because, hey, let's be serious, you're going to be using this outdoors. The stuff sack is attached to the sleeping back and can be zipped up in a pocket to keep it out of the way. We added an interior zipper pocket to store your keys / phone / cash etc during the night, eliminating the morning confusion of "Dude! Where are my keys?".
