Tony Kubek made his Major League debut with the Yankees in 1957 at the young age of 21. Playing his entire 9-season career for the Yankees Kubek mostly played short stop compiling a lifetime batting average of .266 with 57 home runs. He was named the 1957 AL Rookie of the Year and was a part of seven AL pennant-winning clubs 1957-58 1960-64 and three World Championships 1958 1961-1962. Following his playing days Kubek became a baseball broadcaster and in 2009 he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a Ford C.
