Sierra Designs' warmest down jacket is designed like their Mobile Mummy sleeping bags with baffled panels, generous down-fill and only a single adjustment, the front zipper, to secure you in a warm cocoon. Insulated with 180 grams of 850 Fill Power Duck DriDown, a water resistant down. The baffled construction is warmer than quilted-construction since baffled panels stop "heat leaks" at stiched seams. Interior PU-coating for extra water protection also increases warmth by blocking wind. 10D fabric is ultralight, with 20 & 30D Ripstop yarns for durability. Hat (not helmet) compatible hood folds into a high, protective collar. Center-front zipper secures hood around face without the need for a draw cord. Insulated storm flap with anti-snag construction. Insulated hand pockets keep hands warm. Parka stows in interior pocket that becomes a pillow with a soft, brushed cover. Relaxed cut fits over heavy layering and longer length adds warmth and protection from weather.
