To a poor little dog who only wants to protect you, the idea of a scooter is terrifying. It's basically a metal L with wheels that stays balanced only when it's moving. How did we even create this thing? What was our species thinking?

It's good, then, that we've come far enough to invent self-balancing scooters. Not just because they make us safer, helping us to avoid skinned knees and twisted ears or whatever weird stuff happens to kids these days. No, it's good that we've come far enough to invent self-balancing scooters so our dogs can stop worrying every time we get them out of the garage.

Cats, of course, couldn't care less. They understand that sometimes in life a creature just has to take a few risks. That's why they pounce on you at three in the morning. For the rush.
