The pose is pretty much like you’d imagine. All you have to do is sit with your legs extended straight out in front of you so that your body forms an L shape, similar to that of a treadmill in the unfolded position.
Keeping your legs straight, lift them off the ground and bring them towards your torso as far as you can. You are now in the folded treadmill position. Note how little space you take up when your legs are in the up position and how easy it would be to store you discreetly in the corner of the room.
Next, lower your legs straight on the floor. Have a partner stand on your legs and run a jog on them as though they are the belt of a treadmill.
The rhythmic pressure will act as a leg massage and allow you to really breathe into the stretch. The relentless beating releases any toxins that have built up in your muscles.
The suggested duration of this pose really depends on your partner’s running stamina, the strength of the bones in your legs, and your tolerance for pain.
