The Black Colt II is one of Kershaw’s original ranch-tough work knives. It's a sturdy work knife built of no-nonsense materials and designed to dish out and take the punishment of real work in the real world. The Black Colt II is a medium-sized knife that boasts a 3-inch blade of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which provides a good balance of toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. The swaged clip-point blade provides an aggressive point for piercing tasks. The handle is a non-slip polymer with finger contours for a solid grip. Steel liners and a heavy steel back lock give this knife a very solid feeling in the hand. The lock back design is extremely sturdy and keeps the blade securely in place when in use.
