At the JOOLA headquarters the assignment to create the JOOLA Heleus Ball was codenamed the "Perfect Pickleball Project." The team consisted of product developers who also have a deep passion for playing pickleball. They combined systematic testing techniques with actual game play on the pickleball court to evaluate dozens of competitors’ pickle balls and prototypes. They then focused on three core functions: consistent flight, liveliness, and durability. Using the Fibonacci Sphere Algorithm, JOOLA has produced a patent pending design for 40 precisely equidistant holes. We paired that with our 70+ years of experience in developing and testing table tennis balls to ensure the playability and consistency of each and every ball. The design and materials used to perfect the playability have the knock on effect of producing a premium, long lasting, durable pickleball for outdoor or indoor play.

40 PERFECTLY SPACED HOLES: Codenamed the "Perfect Pickleball Project", our techs used the Fibonacci Sphere Algorithm to create a patent pending design for 40 precisely equidistant holes. The result is the most consistent pickleball ball on the market today.
PROPRIETARY MANUFACTURING PROCESS: JOOLA Heleus balls use a special material composition, a unique manufacturing process & a time tested quality control check from our 70+ years of table tennis to create a long lasting, better playing pickleball.
CONSISTENT FLIGHT & BOUNCE: These pickleball balls have been subjected to countless drag, drop, and flight trajectory tests to ensure reliability and stability day in & day out. What you get is a ball that plays with a lively & crisp feel.
TOURNAMENT & REC PLAY READY: USAPA Approved premium outdoor pickleball balls. Pro players will quickly notice the true flight & lower ball deformation at impact while rec players get a ball that can be played over & over with optimal performance.
DURABLE DESIGN: Seamless one-piece construction improves the playability of the ball to last longer and be more resistant to breaking; Practice with the ball of choice of many top players, including Ben Johns, the World's #1 Ranked pickleball player.
