Specializing in clothing for people who work in "extreme" conditions, Helly Hansen designed the Impertech clothing for Working Men who work in wet, dirty, and dangerous conditions, or who want seriously-waterproof pants for hunting or other outdoor activities. Impertech fabric is a .19mm circular knit polyester that's backed with a stretch polyurethane coating. Polyurethane is a unique material that combines the elasticity of rubber with the toughness and durability of metal. The combination makes Impertech fabric impermeable to water yet amazingly stretchy. These work clothes feature a double layer of Impertech that's also edge stitched and welded on the seat and knees.
