Advection/Topoflex Suspension:
The Nimbus Trace introduces a new suspension system from Granite Gear that combines their Advection back panel with their Topoflex frame sheet for ergonomic weight distribution and cooling. The Topoflex frame sheet follows both the vertical and horizontal contours of the back, allowing for a more consistent load distribution leading to better blood circulation and less muscle fatigue. The suspension is engineered with three distinct zones of flexibility--a shock absorbing lumbar zone; a semi-rigid mid-back zone for even weight distribution and the perfect level of torsional flex; and a rigid upper zone that accommodates the load lifters to pull the whole load close to your back. The Advection back panel features foam panels that allow air to flow freely between the back and the frame sheet to allow for evaporative cooling.
