The e6 used golf ball is a multilayer ball whose design is intended to reduce sidespin off the driver, helping players plagued by the hook or slice gain extra yards off the tee. The Bridgestone e6 used golf balls utilize an SCT seamless 330-dimple design and the Soft Kinetic Energy Core that is designed to improve feel on all shots but also to maximize the launch angle off the tee. The Linear Velocity Inner Layer, which is designed to generate high resilience and reduce sidespin off of the driver, is a key to Bridgestone's effort to minimize sidespin.
