Bruins Great Brad Park has personally hand-signed this Bruins Puck. Park was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 1966 NHL Amateur Draft in the first round but he did not waste no time in making a name for himself in the National Hockey League. Playing in an era in which the great Bobby Orr dominated the ice, Park quickly became the New York Rangers best defenseman and often drew comparisons to Bobby Orr. Both Park and Orr are credited in revolutionizing the offensive defenseman. As the alternate captain of the 1972 Rangers Park led them to defeat the defending champions Montreal Canadians in the first round of the playoffs, and advance to the Stanley Cup finals where they unfortunately lost to their rivals the Boston Bruins. As a member of the Boston Bruins he earned his first two All-Star team selections and came in second in the Norris Trophy race twice in a Bruins Uniform with 1977-78 being his best season. Park was named to the First All- Star team in 1970, 1972, 1974, 1976 and 1978. He was enshrined into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988 in his first year of eligibility. Inscribed "HOF 88".
