Its perhaps the most memorable play in the history of baseball. Game 6 of the 1986 World Series found the New York Mets down to the Boston Red Sox 5-3 in the 10th inning. The historic gaff allowed Ray Knight to round third and score giving the Mets the 6-5 victory. The Mets would go on to win the World Series in 7 games. This autographed baseball by Bill Buckner and Mookie WIlson commemorates the historic play has been hand signed by both Mookie Wilson and Bill Buckner. Wilson added the inscription '10/25/86.' A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
