Features
The perfect beginner telescope, Celestron’s AstroMaster 102AZ refractor will have you and your family observing the night sky in no time. With a 4-inch lens, your AstroMaster provides bright, sharp views of all the best celestial objects: the rings of Saturn, gas clouds of the Orion Nebula, Jupiter’s cloud bands, and craters on the Moon. You can even use your AstroMaster for daytime observation of landscapes and wildlife. You’ll always be ready for celestial events like lunar eclipses and comets with your AstroMaster 102AZ. All the components, including a full-size steel tripod, break down into small pieces so you can take your AstroMaster camping or to a dark-sky site. When you’re ready to observe, the no-tool setup makes assembly a snap. The AstroMaster 102AZ features an easy-to-use altazimuth mount. Simply point the telescope at your target by panning and tilting the mount head. An included Red-dot finderscope helps you center the object. Then, you’ll be able to view it at different magnifications using two included eyepieces.
